Hi my name is Abiei. I am a wife, and mother. I have five wonderful kids (three girls, and two boys) from ages eight to eight months. Simply Abiei is a blog dedicated to inspire women and young girls who love style, beauty, food, home decor, and everyday life. Here I’ll give you ideas on how to look beautiful, on a budget.

 I was born in South Sudan and migrated to Kenya at the age of four. I lived in Kenya as a Refugee for eight years, where I had my best memories. I later moved to the United States, as a Refugee in early two-thousand. Fast forward to today. I am now a thirty-one year old stay at home mom (SAHM), I left a FT job to take care of my family. I wanted something to keep myself busy while the kids were ‘napping’. I created this blog, because I never saw ‘my’ kind of woman or family in mainstream media being represented, and if so, they were few to none. Here, I’ll share my experiences and journey. 

So, I hope that this place can be a source of inspiration, for all who visit. May we dare to dream together.
